GIVE 2 - WINNER ANNOUNCED!
The GIVE 2 Advisory Board has chosen the recipient for 2010. Bridgeway will receive free photography and retouching valued at $10,000 as this year's winning Not-for-Profit for "GIVE 2 - a Souders Studios Project." This project is in the second year and the Advisory Board selected from numerous applications from around the state. Walk To Remember was this year's runner up. On behalf of all the applicants who participated, we thank you for your proposals and we ask that you submit again in 2011 for GIVE 3. We will post images from this year's project once the photography and retouching are complete.
Gifting Is Very Empowering! Now in Year 2! It's important to give back in today's world. At Souders Studios we have created a Charitable Project called “GIVE 2 – A Souders Studios Project” just to do that. Souders Studios would like to partner each year with a not-for-profit or charitable organization. “GIVE 2 – A Souders Studios Project” was created to offer a Free at No Charge, day of professional photography and professional color management, along with retouching of the final images. We are in year number two of “GIVE 2 – A Souders Studios Project”. Last year’s recipient of this prestigious event went to Freedom Service Dogs. If your organization can use our award-winning photography Team to help get your message out through photography, then just follow the steps below.
Starting on July 5th, 2010 and extending for 30 days to close on August 5th, 2010, we are accepting proposals for a "No Charge" day of high quality photography and retouching. How To Qualify for “GIVE 2 – A Souders Studios Project”
You must be a marketing, agency or PR firm working with a not-for-profit organization.
You can also be an officer or employee of a not-for-profit organization.
Photography must be either shot in our Golden, Colorado Studios or in the Colorado area. Charitable organizations outside of this region would need to provide concept along with products, props or materials to be photographed.
How to Submit Your Proposal to “GIVE 2 – A Souders Studios Project”
Proposals must be brief (one page or less)
Include name of organization
Tax ID or proof of not-for-profit status is required
Include your name and contact information – email and phone
Describe briefly how a free day of professional photography and retouching would help your organization
Proposals must be emailed to rick@soudersstudios.comby August 5th, 2010. A panel of three judges will make the final selection. Winner will be announced and posted on our blog ( http://www.soudersstudios.com/blog ) on August 25th, 2010. Winner will be notified by email as well.
Souders Studios just completed our "GIVE - a Souders Studios Project" photography shoot. This special Souders Studios Project is a yearly commitment to GIVE back to the community. This involves a day of free photography and retouching to a not-for-profit organization. In 2009 Freedom Service Dogs were selected by the GIVE committee to receive this prestigious honor. Attached is one of the images created for Freedom Service Dogs. Our mission was to help the "Operation Freedom" division of Freedom Service Dogs which assists American Veterans to be placed with one of their specially trained service dogs. This is Artie and his family. We encourage you to give back as well. GIVE 2 for 2010 will be accepting applications soon.

Souders Studios was just selected as the World's Best Beverage Photography Studio at the 2010 Le Cordon Bleu World Food Media Awards in South Australia. This prestigious award is the Food Media equivalent of the Oscars. This year there were 700 entries in 24 categories with 50 international judges. Souders Studios has won this award for three consecutive times. This is more than any other Studio in the world.
